Start your NZBP registration.
While the NZBP portal is under development, registration is currently handled by email. Tell us about the boat and we will confirm the information and assessment needed.
01 What to send us
NZBP is available to builders, importers and owners. Tell us the boat type, make and model, build year, current location and whether it is new, imported or already in use.
Include any builder information, specifications, drawings, manuals or previous survey records you already have. We will identify anything else needed after the first review.
02 What happens next
Until online applications launch, registration starts by email. We will review the boat’s details, confirm the assessment pathway and explain the inspection and document requirements. A plate and public record are issued after the assessment is complete.
